Prompt: Write about an adventure you would like to go on

One adventure I would love to go on would be overlanding somewhere in the middle of nowhere. I want to do this because I love being outdoors, and I love driving bigger cars. I really like camping, especially in areas that don't have many people. I also just got a truck, so I would love to take it on a trip somewhere. The truck I got is a 1995 Ford F-150 xlt with a extended cab and an eight foot bed.

Summary: We took a quiz where all the answers were A to see how we would react.

Reflection: I was stressed because you said we weren't having the quiz so I stopped looking over the words since I have other work I needed to complete for other classes. I wasn't expecting to have a quiz today so it was a surprise. My lit teacher. last year gave us a quiz and almost all the answers were B except for a few scattered here and there.

 Prompt: One question I've had for a while is why are instruments SO expensive. I get that it's a niche market, but that isn't an excuse for pieces of brass to cost thousands of dollars. For example, a brand new Yamaha Xeno (trumpet) would cost you around 3400$. My second question is why schools don't teach us essential skills we need in life  such as: writing checks, filing taxes, job hunting, and financial literacy.  Summary: I stayed home because I was sick. 4 Goals for 2026 Jan 6th 2026

The first goal I would like to achieve in 2026 is being able to reach a double  g  above the staff in the stands at football games.  This goal is important to me because range is important to  me  and the more range that I develop opens me to more  opportunities  such as lead trumpet in a jazz band.   To achieve my goal, I need to practice long tones at different dynamics and gradually work my way from around a c above the staff to a double g, and do this every day. I hope to reach my goal by the start of football season  my  senior year. The second goal I would like to achieve in 2026 is scoring 1200 or above on the SAT.  This goal is important to me since a better SAT score opens more opportunities for scholarships.  To achieve my goal, I will have to study, prepare, and hopefully take a class that teaches  to  the SAT.
