One topic I think I will have to debate most often is the practicality of my truck. I get about 11mpg so gas milage is pretty horrible, but it isnt as bad as you would think for a 5.8L 351 Windsor V8. I feel that its worth it since its a 30 year old piece of history, and since its my favorite bodystyle of f-150, the 9th gen (92-97). One pro of the truck is how reliable and comfortable it is. One real advantage of an older car is being able to work on it and fix it yourself, which you cant do with almost any new cars. I also feel like I have more of a connection with car car since you can feel alot more of the car and I just feel like I have more control over the car. I will never get a brand new car, or an electric car, and thats a hill I will die on.  Summary: Today, we worked on argument and claim notes. Reflection: Im glad we got a break

 One truth I was afraid to accept was when my cat Gris died last year. I was playing video games with friends when I noticed Gris breathing really heavy and panting, so I called my mom downstairs. She took him to an emergency vet. He was put down around two that morning. Summarry: We went over agument notes Reflection: I took notes. I wish you would make the friday blog posts due sometime saturday since some of us have to be at the football games and ususally dont get home till close or after midnight, and when you dont give us time in class to complete the post on fridays, they will be missing and we cannot make them up.

 Prompt: The most recent time I was judged unfairly was in band. Xander and I were on 1st for Groovitude. I'm 3rd chair and Xander's 4th. We missed a couple entrances, but it was the first time looking at the piece. After running through Groovitude, Dr. F told us that Rowan or Josh must be 1st on everything since they've been playing longer and are more advanced. I feel that Xander and I were judged unfairly since Dr. F didn"t really give us a chance to work on fixing things and problem areas. I feel like if we were given the time we don"t need to always have a more advanced player on 1st parts. Summary: Tonday we worked on a commonlit assignment Reflection: I reviewed my grades and realized I'm missing an assignment so I'm going to try to finish that in class and turn it in tonight along with the commonlit.

 Prompt: After viewing your classmates’ poem posters, select one presentation that caught your attention. Describe what you enjoyed about it or something new you learned from their work. Response: On thursday, I was sick and was not at lakeside. Therefore I was not able to look at my classmate's poem posters. Summary: I was sick so I slept and worked on my truck Reflection: I wish I got a little more done on my truck. I finished replacing the airbag clockspring, alternator, serpentine belt, belt tensioner, and I'm halfway through replacing the speakers in the doors of the truck.

The three words from the vocab that I would most likely use are: agape, animosity, and ambiguous. I feel that I would use these because they have close to the same meaning as words I already use.  Summary: Today in class we worked out of Vocabulary for the college bound Reflection: I need to try to get stuff done faster so I have more time for other things

What is your favorite Homecoming tradition or event? i dont particularly like it outside of band. i don't really show off school spririt other then when were required to at football games and pep rallys such as the ones today. I absolutely hate class discussions and worksheet work. I prefer hands on activities (online stuff does NOT count) because it's a lot easier to pay attention to and stay engaged. I like writing better online, but absolutely despise paper assignments unless it's math or science. Summary:Today I finished writing my poem and started on my poster Reflection: I finished writing my poem and think I got a good amount done

If im going to be honest, not too well. Im having a lot of trouble balancing work from physics, U.S. History, and math. I have a ton of physics work, well over 100 problems a week. I dont really have that much freetime to do anything that I really enjoy anymore. All I do now really is school, marching band, homework, and sleep. it just feels like the same thing over and over again. I'm falling behind in a few classes, and still havent caught up from when I was sick. I just don't have time to make up the work. hopefully once the marching band season ends it will get better and I'll start to have more freetime. Im not really expecting that to happen because I'm up till around 3 every morning trying to get work done. Summary: We talked about a poem by Emily Dickinson Reflection: I wish I got more done in class today. I got a good amount done on the assignment for today and will hopefully finish it tonight.
