Prompt: As you grow older and face new experiences, what issue or topic do you think you'll have to stand up and debate most often, whether with friends, family, or society?

One topic I think I will have to debate most often is the practicality of my truck. I get about 11mpg so gas milage is pretty horrible, but it isnt as bad as you would think for a 5.8L 351 Windsor V8. I feel that its worth it since its a 30 year old piece of history, and since its my favorite bodystyle of f-150, the 9th gen (92-97). One pro of the truck is how reliable and comfortable it is. One real advantage of an older car is being able to work on it and fix it yourself, which you cant do with almost any new cars. I also feel like I have more of a connection with car car since you can feel alot more of the car and I just feel like I have more control over the car. I will never get a brand new car, or an electric car, and thats a hill I will die on.

Summary: Today, we worked on argument and claim notes.

Reflection: Im glad we got a break

In “Birches,” Robert Frost celebrates imagination as a way to escape life’s difficulties and reconnect with innocence. The speaker wishes to “get away from earth awhile” but also understands that he must eventually return to reality. Think about the role of imagination in your own life. How does imagination help you cope with challenges, boredom, or stress?

Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.
