After viewing your classmates’ poem posters, select one presentation that caught your attention. Describe what you enjoyed about it or something new you learned from their work.

Prompt: After viewing your classmates’ poem posters, select one presentation that caught your attention. Describe what you enjoyed about it or something new you learned from their work.

Response: On thursday, I was sick and was not at lakeside. Therefore I was not able to look at my classmate's poem posters.

Summary: I was sick so I slept and worked on my truck

Reflection: I wish I got a little more done on my truck. I finished replacing the airbag clockspring, alternator, serpentine belt, belt tensioner, and I'm halfway through replacing the speakers in the doors of the truck.

In “Birches,” Robert Frost celebrates imagination as a way to escape life’s difficulties and reconnect with innocence. The speaker wishes to “get away from earth awhile” but also understands that he must eventually return to reality. Think about the role of imagination in your own life. How does imagination help you cope with challenges, boredom, or stress?

Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.
