The chapter that stood out to me the most was Chapter 8 because it goes beyond just Chris McCandless and compares him to other people who also chose isolation and extreme independence. This made the story more interesting because it showed that Chris wasn’t completely alone in his mindset, but also highlighted how risky and uncommon his choices were. It made me think more deeply about whether his actions were admirable or reckless. Krakauer’s storytelling in this chapter stood out because it added different perspectives, making the reader question their own opinion about McCandless instead of just following one viewpoint.

 Summary: we had test

Reflection: test :(

In “Birches,” Robert Frost celebrates imagination as a way to escape life’s difficulties and reconnect with innocence. The speaker wishes to “get away from earth awhile” but also understands that he must eventually return to reality. Think about the role of imagination in your own life. How does imagination help you cope with challenges, boredom, or stress?

Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.
