April 27th: Prompt: Reflect on your research topic and identify the most compelling issue connected to it. Clearly explain what the issue is and discuss why you find it particularly interesting or important. Support your response with specific details from your research.

The most compelling issue I found while researching the effects of plastic surgery on mental health is how it can both help and hurt someone’s self image depending on their mindset going in. On one hand, some people report increased confidence and satisfaction after procedures, especially if they were fixing something that genuinely bothered them for a long time. But a lot of research shows that if someone already struggles with things like body dysmorphia or low self esteem, surgery does not fix the root problem and can sometimes make it worse, leading to repeated procedures or even more dissatisfaction. I think this is really important because it shows that plastic surgery is not just a physical decision, it is closely connected to mental health, and without dealing with that first, the results might not turn out the way people expect.

Summary: Im not sure what we did in class since we had class for 2 days this week and I was not there.

Reflection: My mom had car trouble and I had to go and get her and take care of her car. I'm sorry I wasn't there but there was nithing I could do to avoid this.

In “Birches,” Robert Frost celebrates imagination as a way to escape life’s difficulties and reconnect with innocence. The speaker wishes to “get away from earth awhile” but also understands that he must eventually return to reality. Think about the role of imagination in your own life. How does imagination help you cope with challenges, boredom, or stress?

Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.
