April 30th-May 1st: Prompt: What strategies have you and your group used to ensure that all members are actively contributing to group assignments? Explain how you communicate, divide responsibilities, and hold each other accountable throughout the process.

One challenge my group faced was staying organized and keeping communication clear since all of our work was done on paper and not online. Because I missed two block classes, I fell behind and have not been able to see what the group has completed so far, which makes it hard to know exactly what we decided on for sources and analysis. This created some confusion for me about what I am supposed to contribute when I return. To handle this, I am planning to check in with my group as soon as I am back in class and go over everything I missed so I can catch up quickly. Going forward, I will make sure I stay more involved in group discussions and keep up with the work so I do not fall behind again and so I can contribute more consistently.

In “Birches,” Robert Frost celebrates imagination as a way to escape life’s difficulties and reconnect with innocence. The speaker wishes to “get away from earth awhile” but also understands that he must eventually return to reality. Think about the role of imagination in your own life. How does imagination help you cope with challenges, boredom, or stress?

Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.
